Beijing's northeastern Pinggu district will invest substantial funds to empower the high-quality development of its cultural industry, according to a newly released cultural policy by the district at a press briefing in Beijing yesterday.
Valid for three years, the policy includes multiple reward provisions, with the highest single reward reaching 3 million yuan. It aims to provide comprehensive support from project initiation and enterprise growth to brand building and integrated development, injecting strong momentum into the deep integration of agriculture, culture, tourism, sports, and commerce in the region.
The policy focuses on providing support in five key areas including building "culture plus” industries and striving for national-level cultural brands. The beneficiaries cover registered entities and individuals in the district, with a particular emphasis on enterprises with integrated development projects in the fields of culture, tourism, sports, commerce, and agriculture.
"The policy is highly operational," said a representative of an attending enterprise. Support for integrated scenarios such as "culture + technology," "culture + logistics," and "culture + leisure" provides clear guidance for innovative enterprise development.
