At the westernmost end of China, Xinjiang
Uygur Autonomous Region was a communications hub on the Silk Road
that historically linked China with the Middle East and Europe. Different
cultures and customs met and mingled here, which added to the attraction
of the place. With landscapes and scenery of enchanting beauty, Xinjiang
remains a perfect dream to numerous tourists.
As its economy and society develop at an amazing speed, Xinjiang has
been undergoing great changes. People of different ethnic groups live
in peace and plenty. Today's Xinjiang looks more beautiful than ever
