Macao reported 33 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Thursday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 1,078 so far.

The newly confirmed cases comprised 15 female patients and 18 male patients whose ages ranged from one to 70, Macao's Health Bureau said.

According to the statistics from the Bureau, some six patients who tested positive for the virus were still receiving medical treatments to date, but their health conditions remained stable.

To date, there was only one A/H1N1 flu fatality recorded in the city.
